Abstract
From Parentucellia viscosa a new glucosidic iridoid, gardoside methyl ester, was isolated along with bartioside, aucubin, melampyroside, shanzhiside methyl ester and 8-epiloganin. The structure of the new glucoside was confirmed by its chemical conversion into 8-epiloganin.
