Abstract
Infrared (IR) and far infrared (FIR) spectra of five alkoxybenzoic acids with even number of carbon atoms in the paraffinic chain, namely p,n-butyl (C 4), p,n-hexyl (C 6), p,n-octyl (C 8), p,n-decyl (C 10) and p,n-dodecyl (C 12) homologues are reported and the structure of the different solid modifications formed upon heating and cooling is considered.
