Abstract

Interprofessional health education (IPHE) has been defined as a process where two or more health professions learn with, from and about each other to improve collaboration and the quality of patient care. The goal of IPHE is to provide various collaborative opportunities between students of different health professions. The expectations are to build core competencies, which will translate into better patient-centered care for the duration of their professional career. IPHE experiences are accomplished through the use of both traditional and innovative activities.
