Abstract

Purpose: As the first field survey research about city development projects resident community facilities, This research exacted a survey about community facilities built to a complex 1 of city development projects having been completed projects and thorough it, anaylsed importance and satisfying degree, surveyed the appraisal of residents after moving in by aggregating it. Method: This research exacted a field survey research to analyze the importance and satisfying degree of residents community facilities. Also, based on the anaylisys results, This research exacted IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis), Finally This research deduced related implication with sorting and deducing preferential concentration areas, sustainability areas, incremental development areas and the area of maintenance of the status quo. Result: First, improvements in the facilities that children and elementary school students use such as the playground and daycare center are needed by priority. Second, the importance and the satisfaction of the facilities for all classes such as sport facilities, rest areas, or welfare facilities are generally high, and it seems the maintenance of the status quo is needed to increase the satisfaction of living conditions. Third, it was investigated that the importance of the facilities other than the facilities for children or for all classes is low, and gradual improvements or passively maintaining the status quo of these facilities seems to be the method to increase the satisfaction of living conditions. An empirical study on the opinion on the community facilities of the residents of Gimpo Gamjeong Area 1 was conducted to seek a measure to increase the satisfaction of living conditions. To achieve this, preferential improvements, maintaining the status quo, and passive responses were suggested.
