Abstract
Presented by the Joint Taskforce on Networked Media (JT-NM) on the SMPTE+ platform, “IP Facilities—The Big Picture” examined this significant transition through two sessions and four roundtables on 5 October 2021. The JT-NM is comprised of industry organizations of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), SMPTE, Video Services Forum (VSF), and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) with the mission of driving development of a packet-based network infrastructure for the media industry. Blackmagic Design was the major sponsor of the presentation.
