Abstract

Block chain, the underlying technology of crypto currency networks like Bitcoin, is designed to realize the vision of a decentralized, secure and open Internet of Things (IoT) revolution with a centralized data access model. Essential. It may be so. This article proposes a distributed access model for IoT data using a network architecture called the IoT and Blockchain Modular Consortium Architecture. The proposed architecture facilitates IoT communication via a blockchain software stack and a peer-to-peer data storage mechanism. This architecture is intended to provide privacy and be adaptable to various IoT use cases. To implement the proposed architecture, we conduct a performance analysis of existing blockchain development platforms, Ethereum and Monax.
