Abstract
In this paper, electromagnetic induction-type energy harvesting technique and variable keep-alive transmission period technique that can improve the power efficiency of wireless sensor network are dealt with as a method to more efficiently utilize a limited battery. In addition, the structure of the energy harvester based on mathematical model simulation was designed and a variable keep-alive cycle technique was proposed as a way to solve problem of the power efficiency that occurs when the keep-alive cycle is fixed in a wireless sensor network environment.
