Abstract

AbstractElevated intraocular pressure still the major surrogate and risk factor for development and progression of glaucoma. For decades the Goldmann applanation tonometry has been the gold standard for measuring intraocular pressure; however, there are newer methods of measuring intraocular pressure, each one has advantages and disadvantages and depends on the corneal biomechanics parameters. This talk will focus on the different methods and their limitations with regard to measuring intraocular pressure in abnormal corneas.
