Abstract
Photoelectron spectra resulting from the two-photon resonant, three-photon ionization of O 2 via the newly observed 3dδ 1,3Φ g Rydberg states are reported for ν= 0 to 3 vibrational levels. The preparation of vibrationally state-selected O + 2 ion is quite remarkable, yielding &>; 98% pure ν + = ν ionic states.
