Abstract

In this paper, in the proximity of epoxides, we have suggested the conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) for cyclic carbonates known as the most proper approach for synthesizing this C1 building block. Oxidation carboxylation of styrenes with CO2 is performed at aerobic conditions utilizing the present approach. Oxidize carboxylation of styrenes by CO2 was performed in the presence of DFNS-IL as NPs. Good to superb performance products were provided deploying DFNS-IL nanocatalyst. In addition, the anatomy of DFNS-IL has been distinguished by various methods, including XRD, VSM, FT-IR, SEM, EDX, TEM, and TGA. The stability of the catalytic system increased after the excessive addition of DFNS. In addition, the hot filtration test provided complete insight into the heterogeneity of the catalyst. The reuse and recycling of the catalyst were repeatedly investigated for coupling reactions. In addition, the mechanism of the coupling reactions was thoroughly studied.
