Abstract

Abstract Thermal energy ion-molecule reactions in carbonyl sulfide–hydrocarbon (methane, acetylene and propylene) mixtures were studied using a mass spectrometer equipped with a pulsed ion source. The rate constants for sulfur atom transfer, sulfur ion transfer and sulfur ion addition reactions were measured.
