Abstract

The Pitzer ion interaction parameters for the Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 −H 2 O system have been reevaluated by using all published isopiestic data at 25.0 o C. An analysis of the differences between model-calculated and experimental metal sulfate solubilities reveals that the ternary interaction parameter can be set to zero for all systems considered
