Abstract

The dispersion and polar components of the polypropylene free energy were calculated on the basis of a measurement of contact angle of polar and apolar liquid. An increase of the polar component of the free energy and work of adhesion for the polymer-water system was also measured as a function of fluorine ion implantation.
