Abstract
1. N-Methyl-α-amino-2-furylmethylphosphonic acid and its diethyl ester have been synthesized. 2. Selective ion exchangers have been obtained, which contain N-methyl-α-amino-2-furyl-methylphosphonic acids and their diethyl esters as ionizing groups in a polystyrene macronetwork. 3. A simple method is proposed for cleaving the ester groups of N-alkyl-substituted aminophosphonates and sorbents derived from them with dry HC1.
