Abstract
In this paper, the distribution of U(IV) between a solution and a strong basic anion exchange resin 201×7 in mixed media HCl-methanol, HCl-ethanol, HCl-n-propanol and HCl-acetone has been investigated. The distribution ratio of U(IV) D in various conditions has been determined, the species of U(IV) sorbed on resin has been studied by visible and infrared spectroscopy and in mixed media by visible spectroscopy. The results show that the distribution ratio of U(IV) obviously increases in the presence of organic solvents, but the species of U(IV) sorbed on the resin are not influenced.
