Abstract
This humorous spot, directed by the world renown Traktor (Mats Lindberg and Ulf Johansson), for Publicis and Hal Rainey, features a mix of CG animation of a pesky squid and live-action of a typical American backyard setting in Summer. Andre Bustanoby was the visual effects supervisor, Piotr Karwas, lead character animator, David Hodgins, character designer, and Katie Nook did the compositing in Flame. The spot was modeled and animated in Maya, rendered in Lightwave, and lit using Lightwave. David Lo was the color, lighting and effects animator. Copyright held by creator.
