Abstract
AbstractReactions of Si‐ and Ge‐substituted alkynes with KICl2 were investigated. (1‐Germatranyl)‐phenylacetylenes and (triphenylsilyl)phenylacetylene gave Z‐iodochloroalkenes with chlorine and phenyl groups attached to the same carbon atom.
