Abstract
The involutive automorphisms of hyperbolic Kac–Moody algebras are computed from Satake diagrams of these algebras which are then used to furnish a general procedure of their Iwasawa decomposition. In particular Â1(1) and Â2(1) are considered as representative examples to illustrate the efficacy of the underlying treatment.
