Abstract

Colorimetric paper-based microfluidic devices are well known for point-of-care testing of pregnancy and COVID-19 infection. However, colorimetric transduction makes devices low-sensitivity and poor resistance to interference of biomolecules in complex sample matrices. This presentation will discuss how to use utilize fluorescence and surface-enhanced Raman scattering to improve sensitivity and resistance to background interference.
