(Invited) Nano-Beam Diffraction: Crystal Structure and Strain Analysis at the Nanoscale

Abstract

Two different applications of the nano beam diffraction technique are reviewed: the determination of crystallographic orientation and the evaluation of strain at the nanoscale. Both applications benefit of the small parallel electron probe to obtain information that cannot be achieved with conventional electron diffraction or other analysis methods.
