Abstract

In acidic pH, after a short period of illumination, a significant increase of the cathodic current in the dark is recorded onto p-GaAs until reaching a stationary current. This “final configuration” of the interface is unique since O2 reduction mechanism proceeds then only by holes injections. Collapse straight lines of Mott-Schottky are recorded after O2 reduction. A dissolution of the p-GaAs is observed. As a corrosive reactant, H2O2 can be also suggested in acidic NH3 Liq.
