Blow-out fractures are probably the most controversial facial fractures in terms of surgical treatment indication, options, and protocols.1 The current paper by Paolo Scolozzi2 emphasizes that despite the great advances in terms of imaging-based technologies available, clinical observations are the most important assistive tool for decision making.
