Abstract

Administration of gibberellic acid in either aqueous or organic solvents to the dry seed before sowing markedly increased the speed and rate of seedling emergence of Solanum laciniatum. Incubation of S. khasianum and Catharanthus roseus seeds under conditions of high relative humidity improved the speed of seedling emergence from seeds sown at low temperatures.
