Abstract

One of the techniques used to improve the quality of seeds whose quantity decreases due to storage is invigoration treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of shallot extract solution concentration and the appropriate soaking time on the quality of expired pakcoy seeds. This research was conducted from August to October 2022 at the Seed Technology Laboratory of Jember State Polytechnic. A factorial complete randomized design (CRD) with three replications was used as the basis of the experiment. The first factor was solution concentration consisting of 0% (B0), 25% (B1), and 50% (B2). The second element is the amount of time spent soaking, which can range from 15 minutes as a control to 4 hours or 6 hours. ANOVA was used to statistically analyze the observation data.
