Abstract

Fluorescence detection of nonequilibrium high-frequency acoustic phonons is based on interaction of phonons with different kinds of electronic excitations in solids. For semiconductors the interaction of phonons with intrinsic electronic excitations, excitons, may be used [1,2]. The effects of nonequilibrium phonons on exciton fluorescence are diverse and extremely large in value thus permitting the effective use of them in nonequilibrium phonon physics.KeywordsAcoustic PhononPhonon SpectrumFree ExcitonKinetic Energy DistributionExciton BandThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
