Abstract

1. 1. Rabbits immunized with ragweed pollen extract produce ragweed antibodies. 2. 2. Ragweed antibodies are easily demonstrable by precipitation and complement fixation tests. 3. 3. The increase in titer of Forssman antibodies in such rabbit sera is not significant. There is no evidence for the assumption that Forssman antigen is present in ragweed pollen.
