Abstract

Geotechnical properties and physical characteristics of cemented rock fill (CRF) made of three different aggregates were studied through laboratory tests. Investigations into factors affecting the properties of CRF such as cement content, composition and particle size distribution of aggregate, and types of aggregates are reported. It was found that compressive strength of CRF made of a mixture of hard and weak aggregate is higher than that of CRF made of hard aggregate only.
