Abstract

The investigations for a tunnel beneath the Waitemata Harbour employed three different methods of investigation. Secondly an extensive inshore seismic reflection survey helped delineate the lithostratigraphic units and finally, a limited marine drilling programme confirmed the geological and seismic interpretations.
