Abstract

Abstract Peasant entrepreneurs are one important force to promote the development of new rural construction, so it has practical significance to study success factors of peasant entrepreneurs. 40 cases involving peasant entrepreneurs are studied through content analysis method and the results show that: (1) Making good use of existing resources in rural areas is a key factor for peasant entrepreneurs; (2) hard work, strong willness, tactics and courage, social responsibility are four most important success factors; (3) 23 items of success factor can be summarized into three categorized, personality traits, abilities, and behavior characteristics.
