Abstract

The specific heat capacity (Cp) of ivermectin (IVM) was measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and expressed as a function of temperature. Moreover, the standard molar combustion enthalpy of IVM was determined to be −26963.6 kJ mol−1 by XRY-1C calorimeter. The standard molar enthalpy of formation was calculated to be −862866.3 kJ mol−1 based on the standard molar combustion enthalpy. The thermodynamic basic data obtained are available for exploiting new synthesis methodology, engineering design and industry production of IVM.
