Abstract

Objective To investigate the quality of the transitional nursing care for the patients undergoing ophthalmic day surgery so as to provide reference for the improvement of transitional nursing care quality in the department. Methods By convenience sampling, a total of 400 patients undergoing ophthalmic day surgery from May to October in 2016 in a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital in Beijing as subjects. The Patient Version of Transitional Nursing Service Quality Evaluation Form for Day Surgery (TNSQEF) was used in the study. Totally 400 questionnaires were distributed and 371 valid ones were retrieved. Results From 371 patients, the score Of TNSQEF was [167 (98, 168) ]. Patients' educational level, past history of chronic disease, type of surgery, and the knowledge about the day surgery all impact on the evaluation score of the transitional nursing care quality (P<0.05) . Conclusions Patients' educational level, past history of chronic disease, type of surgery, and the knowledge about the day surgery all impact on the evaluation score of the transitional nursing care quality.
