Abstract
A WCDMA (wideband code division multiple access) network capacity is difficult to be judged because environment of mobile communication is always open, it depends many factors, e.g. noise, interference, network load etc. In this paper, we studied congestion probability for each service on uplink in a multi-services network such as a WCDMA network, and then we investigate network capacity based on congestion probability. Simulation results show that each kind of services affects each other in such multi-services network; the network capacity may change at any moment. And, we also discovered gain margin could improve performance of system.
