Abstract

Objective To investigate and analyze the present situation and related factors of youth nurses' career planning,to propose some countermeasures for improving the career planning.Methods Young nurses were selected with random sampling method and 200 nurses were enrolled and investigated by questionnaire and the items included the general situation,career planning and related items; the general situation included marriage situation,human relationship,education,technical tide,class change type and so on.Career status was evaluated by scale about career evaluation,and the Cronbach' s α confficient was 0.8023.Statistical description was used in the general variable and t test and F test were used in the quantitative variable.Results 200 questionnaires were discharged and 200 questionnaires were enrolled,and six were picked out,and the valid rate was 97%.The average score through occupational career was (65.59 ± 14.47 ).In addition,statistical significances were revealed by occupational career questionnaire of youth nurses generated in different aspects of the scores of young nurses with various human relations,education background,technical titles (t=-3.12,P<0.05; F=4.62,P<0.05; F=4.17,P<0.05) ; while the difference between marital status and work shifting modes for occupational career scores was not significant( F =1.84,P < 0.05 ; t =0.67,P>0.05).Conclusions Efficient career planning management system should be established in hospital,enhancing youth nurses to perfect their career development.
