Abstract

Recently, the discontinuous permanent magnet linear synchronous motor is proposed as a driving source in the transportation systems. We proposed and had examined load angle constant control without position feedback, to decrease the velocity ripple which evolutes at the re-acceleration portion with the aim of the smooth drive of the discontinuous permanent magnet linear synchronous motor. This paper presents the examination result of load angle constant control by using the drive pattern that determines the acceleration deal with the aiming position of the secondary mover at the velocity ripple suppression in the re-acceleration portion
