Abstract
Extensive research has been going in the field of natural fibre reinforced epoxy composite (NFRC) these days due to their Stronger, stiffer, lighter in weight and biodegradable with nature. In this paper an attempt is made to increase the thermal conductivity of the NFRC by reinforcing the hemp natural fibre with the epoxy resin (LY556). The comparative study of thermal conductivity between dry hemp fibre reinforced epoxy based composites (DFRC) and wet hemp fibre reinforced epoxy based composites (WFRC) are done and to investigate the thermal conductivity of DFRC and WFRC at different % of fibre loading conditions. It is found that WFRC showed more thermal conductivity than DFRC.
