Abstract

AbstractIn contrast to the recently reported strong oscillation of the rate of formation of Nickelcarbonyl in an external magnetic field [1,2] no field dependence of the reaction rate could be found in fields up to 7 Tesla. Instead, the reaction seems to depend strongly on the orientation of the Ni‐single crystalline working surface.
