Abstract
Results of an experimental investigation of a plane, submerged air jet are elucidated. The distribution of the mean velocity, the longitudinal and transverse velocity component pulsations, the tangential friction stress, and the correlation coefficient in jet cross sections are presented. The results of measurements are compared with the data of other authors.
