Investigation of the capabilities of convolutional neural networks in object classification problems

Abstract

This paper considers convolutional neural networks to solve the problem of improving the quality of images compressed by the JPEG algorithm. To analyze the qualitative characteristics of networks, the convolutional network L04 is implemented using the Caffe framework. By choosing the optimal optimization algorithm for training the network, its qualitative characteristics have been improved.
