AbstractThe models of two types of paramagnetic centres in manganese‐doped LiIO3 are determined by means of the radiofrequency discrete saturation method (RFDS) and ENDOR, which measure the superhyperfine interactions of the centres with the neighbouring 7Li nuclei. Manganese is arranged at lithium sites and charge compensation results from a vacancy at a lithium site. The measured quadrupolar splitting parameters of the 7Li nuclei are calculated with good agreement in point charge approximation on the basis of the models determined.
