Abstract

The energetic representation of spectra of depolarized light scattering (DLS), R(v)=J(v)v2, in C6F6 was studied experimentally in the temperature range in which this liquid exists. The temperature dependence of vmax of R(v) contour was found to vary nonmonotonically. A comparison was made with the temperature dependence of DLS integral intensity (DLSI). The temperatures at which the slope of vmax curve changes coincide with temperature anomalies on DLSI curve, that leads to the conclusion that DLS is a sensitive indicator of the symmetry of local structure.
