Abstract
In this paper, a new robust sliding mode current controller is proposed for fourth order dc-dc converters in continuous conduction mode. The main purpose of controller is to regulate output voltage under load and input voltage variations. Advantage of proposed sliding surface is that it needs only one current sensor to sense inductor current. Converters included in this paper are zeta, cuk and single-ended primary-inductance converter (SEPIC). Convergence of output voltage to the desired voltage is proved. Robustness of the proposed controller is verified by varying source voltage and load. Proposed controller is simulated with the help of MATLAB/Simulink and results are demonstrated in the paper.
