Abstract

Some aspects of application of optical pyrometry to the investigation of shock and detonation waves in condensed matter are discussed. New results on the chemical interaction of metals with detonation products and oxidizers induced by planar shock wave and the results on shock wave initiation of liquid explosives are presented also.
