Abstract

Results from investigations of a weakly basic AN-31 anionite in a scheme for complete demineralization of water having a high content of organic substances are presented. Information on the processes pertinent to sorption and desorption of inorganic and organic substances occurring in the course of paired regenerations of anionite is given. Regimes of paired regenerations are proposed in which the part of the spent regeneration solution containing the main portion of sorbed anions and organic substances is discharged into the drain system.
