Abstract

A picosecond X-ray framing camera with four microstrip lines was described in this article. The microstrip line cathode with a width of 6 mm was driven by the gating pulse with a width of 300 ps and an amplitude of-1.9 kV.The camera was tested, and the experimental results show that the inherent delay of the camera is 42.9 ns,the temporal resolution is 110 ps,and the spatial resolution is 17.86 lp/mm.The modulation transfer function curve is obtained from the static spatial resolution image.
