Abstract

The above investigations have led us to the following conclusions about coatings for the optical components of a screen contact interferometer. 1) Coatings made of double-layer dielectrics MgF2, ZnS (or their replacements SiO2 and TiO2) or of chromium are recommended for beam-splitting plates. 2) Interference filters should consist of a multilayer interference dielectric system. A 15-layer first-order filter made from quarter-wave ZnS and MgF2 layers meets the specified requirements. 3) Mirrors used in obtaining interference should have 11-layer dielectric ZnS and MgF2 coatings. 4) The heat filter should consist of glass SZS-14.
