Abstract

Objective To explore the levels of job satisfaction of murses with different personal characteristics and provide suggestions for nurse management. Methods 1109 nurses in comprehensive hospitals of first class were surveyed with a questionnaire developed by Warr and transferred by LuHong, Results The mean score of nurses' job satisfaction was 3.46. Age, work experience, marital status, job title, establishment and position were influential factors of the job satisfaction. Conclusions Based on the different personal characteristics of nurses,managers could improve nurses' work efficiency and satisfaction. Key words: Job background; Nursing; Job satisfaction
