Abstract

In this paper, we explore the multiplexing methods for enhanced Mobile BroadBand (eMBB) and Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency communication (URLLC) streams in downlink wireless networks. The problem of multiplexing data streams in the downlink is set. An approach based on hierarchical modulation is considered. An approach to multiplexing data streams eMBB and URLLC based on Trellis-Coded Modulation (TCM) is proposed. Described the possibility in principle to create streams multiplexing method based on TCM, which, for certain values of the signal-to-noise ratio, reduces the probability of error per bit for the eMBB stream in the presence of an additional URLLC stream.
