Abstract
This work is dedicated to fabricated Chitosan-reinforced bamboo and nano bio-silica (1%, 2%, and 3% by volume) using the hand-layup method and investigate their mechanical properties. Mechanical characterization of samples proves that 2% volume nano bio silica-reinforced composites (C2) exhibit the highest tensile, flexural, and compressive strengths. Finite element analysis of dental implants for static and dynamic loading (60 cycles per minute) also confirmed the suitability of the C2 composites for dental implant applications, with Von-Mises stresses below the yield strength in human jaw bones. These findings highlight the potential use of bio-composite material for the dental implants in future.
