Abstract
AbstractDue to technological advancements, the use of mobile communication gadgets has compounded many folds. Especially, the young generation is very much addicted to these devices, so the experimental study of impact of radiations from mobile phones on ECG and EEG signals is a contemporary research area. To implement presented research work, the impact of radiations from mobile phones on electrocardiogram (ECG) and electroencephalogram (EEG) is studied with the help of various linear and non-linear parameters. Then, the coherence between ECG and EEG is determined under the influence of mobile communication, i.e., when the subjects are talking over mobile phones. There exists an interaction between heart and brain, and it has been proved by the preliminary study of the coherence of ECG and EEG signals in this paper. An ANN ensemble model has been proposed to predict the impact of RF radiation on EEG from the ECG signal. The ECG measurement is relatively easy as compared to EEG measurement, so the proposed method will help the researchers to easily predict the brain (EEG) signals from the heart (ECG) signals.KeywordsCoherenceMobile phone radiationImpact of radiationECGEEGANN ensemble
