Abstract

Internationally all regions affected by climatic change, which causes extensive perturbations that have unavoidable effects on the economy. For the developing country climate change is a major concern where poverty is a common phenomenon and agriculture is the main driving force of people's livelihood. The climatic risks such as production, financial risks and marketing risks are the major characteristics of agrarian sector. This study was conducted with aimed to check Orchard Farmer willingness to pay for climate change in KP Pakistan. The primary data was collected for this research, 6 districts from KP was purposively selected due to limited time and financial constrain namely Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Malakand, Swat and Mansehra. Some statistical analyses like Variance inflation Factor, Logistic regression model and Marginal Effect was carried on to check the relation among variables. The marginal value of the Education and income show that increase in education level and wealth can increase the willingness of the respondent. This study suggested that government must invest more money for the farmers to get specific knowledge and it will help them in orchard.
